ThisandThat LLC is a marketplace that connects customers planning events with independent local rental vendors across NYC and New Jersey. We help customers browse, compare, and request rental items from one or more vendors in a single request. ThisandThat LLC is not itself a rental company and does not own, deliver, or guarantee the condition of items listed by vendors.
Vendors on ThisandThat LLC are independent businesses, not employees, agents, or partners of ThisandThat LLC. Each vendor is solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the condition and delivery of their items, and their own compliance with applicable laws. ThisandThat LLC facilitates the connection and coordination between customers and vendors but is not a party to the rental agreement between you and a vendor.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site. You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide.
You may add items from one or more vendors to your cart. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability or confirm a booking. We coordinate with each vendor to confirm availability for your dates. You will be notified once each vendor confirms, and you will not be charged until you approve the final order.
Prices shown are set by individual vendors and may not include delivery, setup, or applicable taxes until confirmed. Estimated totals shown in your cart are estimates only. Final pricing will be confirmed with you before any payment is collected.
Cancellation and rescheduling terms may vary by vendor and will be communicated at the time of confirmation. ThisandThat LLC is not responsible for a vendor's inability to fulfill a confirmed booking, though we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve any issues.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including submitting false information, attempting to circumvent our systems, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.
All content on the Site, including our name, logo, and design, is owned by ThisandThat LLC or its licensors. Vendor-submitted content such as photos and descriptions remains the property of the vendor, who grants ThisandThat LLC a license to display it on the Site.
The Site is provided "as is." ThisandThat LLC does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by vendors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThisandThat LLC is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site or your interactions with vendors, including property damage, personal injury, or event disruption caused by a vendor's goods or services.
You agree to indemnify and hold ThisandThat LLC harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
